DESIGN FACTS Weight Concrete furniture, even large pieces, DO NOT have to be overly heavy. Concrete is usually viewed as being very heavy. The large coffee table above might weigh as much as 300 lbs if made in the conventional way and require 3 or 4 people to lift it. With Fiberspan Concrete this table actually weighs 87 lbs. Heavy enough but not too heavy. Our concrete furniture is designed for ultra high strength to lower weight ratio. This is a system created by Phil Bigelow to create large, seamless countertop spans for commercial or residential use and fine concrete furniture.
